NIMBYS + CAVES = SERIAL PROTESTORS.

While looking at an article in the Honolulu Advertiser about what is happening over in Kailua, I came across and acronym that I had not seen before - "C.A.V.E.s". CAVES stand for "Citizens Against Virtually Everything".

I immediately came up with this handy mathematical equation:

N + C = SP

NIMBYs (Not In My Backyard) and CAVEs are closely related. Their solution to any changes/progress is to become Serial Protesters - those who protest against virtually anything that is in their backyard.
