I Have Lost My Will To Fight And Write.

I can't come to grips with how disturbing the Governor's Talk Story Meeting about Turtle Bay was to me.

Turtle Bay is now doomed.

I am so ashamed of myself for not speaking out. I am so ashamed of my community for sitting there while our livelihood was diminished and dismissed by the these out of towners. I am stunned that the Governor of our state wants to take over a company that has done so much for our local community. I can't believe Oaktree and Turtle Bay Resort have not sent a single voice of opposition to any meeting, newspaper article, letters to the Editor, public hearing, bill announcement, nothing.

No spark of hope to fight these people who want to Stop Everything, Save Everything, Destroy Everyone who is not "with" them.

I am sick.

I choose to remain anonymous, my only voice this Blog. It is not effective, it is not courageous. I envy those two people who spoke at the meeting and I suffer because I have not.

Good luck with the unemployment and weeds the victors will bring to the North Shore starting with Turtle Bay.
